- One evening a gentleman in Athenry and his servant boy were choosing the cattle they would send to the fair which was to take place a few days after wards. They noticed one of the beasts seemed unwell. The gentleman told his servant that as soon as he would arise in the morning he should go to town for medicine for the beast.
