  1. My mother told me that on St. Martin's Eve our Lord and his Blessed Mother were in a house. out in the night the man of the house got a great pain. The blessed Lady said to her son to do something for him. Our Lord got a bit of tow and dipped it in the blood of St. Martin. The man got better and ever since there is a great cure in the blood drawn St. Martin's Eve.
