Long ago my Grandfather and his brother used to go gambles and when the dance would start my Grandfather would dance the hornpipe and his brother would play it on the tongs.
When we kill a pig at home we get the bladder and blow it with the nib of a pen and use it as a football. The bladder is also used for keeping lard.
- How people used to make a kite is to get too pieces of laths and from a cross and then nail them together. Then get a piece of brown paper and glue it over the cross. Leave it dry for about a(continues on next page)
