- (continued from previous page)Long ago when people got married the people that got married gave an all night dance. When night came a crowd of men came to the wedding. The men were called soppers. They were dressed in a goat's skin and the horns were on. They sang and played and when they were finished they used yet money from the people that got married.
- In country weddings some of the old customs are still retained at the present time. The night of the wedding it is usual for a gang of boys called "Soppers" to go sopping to the house.
