  1. I have heard many old people tell of cures for a cold so i will tell you one of them. Get some flax-seed , sugar-candy, and liquorice and boil them all up together until they become as thin as water. Then pour it into a vessel and leave it there to get cold. Take the full of an egg cup of this every night and morning, and your cold will soon vanish.
