  1. Here is a very good cure for a cold. Get a root of garlic and wash it, and clean a saucepan and put this root into the saucepan, and put one cup of milk into it, and put it down to boil. When it is boiled take it up and leave it to get cold. Take this drink first thing in the morning and your cold will soon vanish.
