  1. There is a place near a house where fairs used to be held long ago and that place is called Cuam na Pádraig. it is said that the fairs were held beside some forts there. When people used to bring cows or calves to the fair where the forts used to be it is said that the fairies used to stand at one side (that) and encourage the people to buy or sell the cattle but the people would not see the fairies. When thee people would buy or sell cattle the man would hold out his hand and the other man would hit his hand and say those words "here is luck for your cattle" and some others
