  1. Weddings and Strawboys
    Long ago in the olden times when people would be getting married, a week before the marriage word would be sent to straw boys and their friends. When the people are getting married they get married in March of February. The old people say that there is no luck in May, or April or June. When persons were getting married the man would go on a horse and the bride on another horse and the brides-maid behind the bride. Then the friends would come after them with another line of horses. The night of the wedding the man would have the feast in his own house.
