  1. Once upon a time there was a man named John Bán and one night he was coming home from a wake and he had no body with him and it is said that it is not right to come home from a wake with out some person to be along with one. He had to cross a mountain called Gleann a Woe and when he was just to cross a wall a big dog as big as a horse came before him with two heads on him. John was a very pious man and he knelt down before the dog and in two minutes the dog turned into a horse and the horse had the very same appearance as the dog. John then made the sign of the cross and the horse disappeared but John
