  1. Tobacco Cures Blindness in Sheep
    About ninty years ago there was a man who had a few sheep and three or four of them took some bad disease in their eyes.
    One night he went out to see them and he found one of them dead so he went into the house and he got this man who was about nine or ten miles away from him to come and cure his sheep. So he came and he told the man who owned the sheep to hold them. The man then put a piece of tobacco into his mouth and he spat into the eyes of the sheep. Then he told the man who owned the sheep that they would be all right so the sheep were as good as ever they were before they got the blindness. I
