  1. It is said that Seán na Sagart was working for Denis Brown. Denis Brown lived in Mountbrown. Sean na Sagart used to have hounds with him sometimes. Anyhow one day a priest passed by this castle and he went into it to see it. Sean na Sagart was in bed and he told the priest to come up to see him The priest did so and before the priest was outside the door Sean na Sagart had him. He put the priests head on a rock and cut it off with a spear. He used to get £5 for every head and every day he used to be on the look out of priests. That castle fell a few years ago and many people went to see it. The ruins of it are there yet.
