  1. Some years ago a water horse was seen at Liscarney lake By Edward Scahill. He went near the horse to see him and he followed him a bit and then returned back again. He said the water horse was about the size of a horse-foal and that he was grey in colour. He remarked also that he had a very long tail and it was brushing against the ground. When he came to the brink of the lake he galloped about the brink and then suddenly went into the water and disappeared. A horse was seen lately swimming in Liscarney lake.
