    On Saint Patrick's journey to Croagh Patrick he passed a well above Pat Kane's in Ballygoremen (Ballygolman). That well is still there and there is water in it. It is like any ordinary well. No one knew about it until lately. Father O'Toole often came to see that well. The people say Saint Patrick made that well himself and blessed it
