- (continued from previous page)That storm lasted for a few days. There is a woman living in Glen island that can remember of that storm. She was only nine years and she said she remembered to see her father standing against the backdoor so that the storm would not burst the door in. She said she remembers also to see her mother putting knives in the windows to keep them from rattling. There are very few living that can remember that.
