- (continued from previous page)About sixty years ago people used to come home on horse-back after being married. Then all the horses used to be racing home trying to be the first. It's not long since the people used to have eighteen or nineteen side-cars at their marriages. The people used to call it the drag. All the young people would be watching and waiting until the drag would pass by. They used to go up on hills and burn whins and have straw for burning. When they would see the drag passing by they would cheer and shout and put up their handkerchiefs in the air.
