  1. There was a fair in Ballyheane on the twentyth of August and Willie Walsh who lived in Lanmore went to the fair. It was about three o'clock when he was coming home. He came all right until he came to Ballygorm. There were two houses there, named John Reilly's and Jack Kerrigan's. There was a big hollow inside the wall and there was a fairy bush there. Before he came to these houses he got very lonesome. When he came to this hollow he heard a lonely sound and wheels going round
