  1. A man lived in Claddy named Pat Sammon and he was cutting turf one day. There were a lot of men in the bog as well as himself. But he found a pot of gold. He threw his coat over it and he said he would get it when he would be going home. When every one was gone out of the bog he went over for his coat and lifted it up but the pot of gold was gone and he never found it after that.
