  1. A Fairy Fair
    There was a woman in Connemara and every year on the eve of one of the fairs in Westport he used to go down to LEtureen to people he knew. There were no clocks at this time and he got up early to be in time for the fair. When he was gone about a mile from the house, his people heard a lot of shouting at MacCormick's bogs on the road on which he was travelling.
    His people went to see was the man killed. When they people came as far as the bogs they could not see or hear anything. They returned home and just as they were
