  1. The dead woman's cloak
    A long time ago there lived in Leitreen a man and his wife and family. The wife died when the family were young. The man was in poor circumstances and he did not know how he would mind the children.
    One of them, a little girl used to go back to Leitreen lake pulling flowers and she used to come home with her hair combed. One dayher father asked her who combed her hair and she told him it was Mammy. He made up his mind to watch and see what was the meaning of it. He went to the place where the little girl was
