  1. There is only one tailor in this parish. He works at home, he does not go whipping-the-cat as they call the journeyman tailor. He keeps shop cloth and the people pay him for the suits when they are made. We sometimes make home made tweed. It is gray in colour and it is very good for the wet climate in this place. A needle, thimble, sowing machine and a smoothing iron are the instruments
