  1. In olden times as to-day women in this place made beautiful material out of the wool that grows on their own sheep on the mountains. When the men shear the sheep the women take the wool to the river and wash away all the dirt out of it and then they spread it out to dry. When it is dry they colour it a few different colours and then it is spread
