  1. There is only one holy well in this place and it is called St. Josephs well. It is situated at the end of Killery Harbour about six miles from here. People visit this well during the month of August. They perform stations by going round the well seven times saying seven Our Fathers seven Hail Marys and the bread each time. There were a great number of people cured at this well. When performing stations people
