    The village got its name from an old jail or prison which was in the north side of it.
    There are fifteen houses in it with seventy people living in them Among those seventy people there are five old people These are their names. Michael Murphy, John Mc Hale, Mary Mc Donell, Mrs. Kearns, Mrs. Glynn.
