  1. A spinning wheel stands on a four legged stool four feet long by one foot wide and a foot and a half in height. There are two sticks erected upon the stool on one of which the wheel is hung and is connected by a cord to the front of the stick to which a spindle is attached.
    When you twist the wheel the spindle twists also. Then you put a little piece of carded wool to it
