  1. Long ago there was a poor widow living alone in a cottage in Kerry. She had a fine son who used to eat five eggs at each meal. She wished her son would become a Priest some day.
    In those days lads who were to be Priests had to go to Spain to study as Catholic boys were not allowed to study in Irish collages.
