  1. On St John's night a lot of people gather together. Each one brings an ass-load of turf from the bog and they appoint to meet at a certain place. When they have a lot of turf gathered they make a big fire. They put a bone in it. Then the old people come out and they say the rosary and all the children answer it. They keep walking around the fire
