  1. On St Patrick's day people wear shamrock in honour of Saint Patrick. Once when he was teaching the Irish people the mystry of the Blessed Trinity they could not understand how there were three persons in One God. St Patrick stooped down and picked a shamrock and showing it to them and said "As there are three leaves on one stem so there are three persons in One God".
