  1. The people of this district sow a lot of potatoes as they are the only food stuff they have. First of all they manure the land and some people put lime on bog land.
    Sometimes they spread the lime on the land before they plough it. They use turf and limetone to burn lime. Some people set ridges but I often saw people setting firbín. but in late years they are set in drills. They plough the land first of all and open the drills and spread manure on them. We have'nt a
