  1. This is how the match-making used to start long ago. The two parties would meet in a certain house and would talk about the match. They would drink and make merry and mark out the day of the marriage. The bridegroom and his friends would come to the bride's house and spend a few hours there drinking. A man would stand up and say that there was a man here that wanted a wife and the girl of the house would be suitable for him. They would go to the chapel and get married. When they were married
