    When St Patrick was going to the reek it is said he passed through this district. There is a path on a hill here called Tochar Pádraig. He founded a church in Ballyburke also. The ruins of the church is there to this day. When he going to Aughagower he met two fierce looking hounds at Clúindácun. They were
