  1. There is an old graveyard in Ballyburke. It is situated on the side of a hill. There are a great many people buried in it. But there are no people buried in it now. Long ago there was an old man living in Ballyburke and he was very poor. He died the time of the famine and the people buried him there. Later on the people collected money and they put a headstone over his grave. There are a few more headstones in the graveyard. There is an old church bedside the
