  1. Foxes, badgers, hares, weasels & squirrels are found in this part of the country. Hares feed on cabbage & green grass. Long ago a man was out hunting and he saw a hare about two yards away from him. He pointed to the hound with his stick where the hare was. The hound made attempt to catch the hare but it make its excape & soon ran into a sand-pit. It changed itself into a small old woman.
