  1. There are a great many tailors in our parish but long ago there were not any atall. The tailors now-a-day keep the cloth in the houses and they make suits for men and they also make clothes for wemon. They have houses for the purpose of tailoring but it was much different long ago. The tailors used to go around to the houses and spend a fornight or whatever length they had work for them.
