    Ballintubber Abby is one of the most historic and ancient places in Ireland.
    Accord to tradition the holy Sacrificre of the Mass has never ceased to be offered on its altars. It was built in 1216 in the reigin of Cathal Oconer king of Connaught. It was a fine building but during reign of Queen Elizabeth like many other abbeys the roof
