  1. Not many have seen strange animals except a dog at Newbridge. He stands on his two hind legs and while he is there nobody can pass him.
    There was also a deer seen in the bog last Summer.
    Once a black fairy cow strayed into a farmers land and she gave butter milk and cheese to all who asked it.
    She was a very fat cow and she used to have fine calves. But as she was growing old, the farmer said it would be better to kill her.
