  1. In this Parish a weed grows to cure warts known localy as the waitweed. This weed never failed to remove warts from animals or people. Although the plant is green with a yellow blossom, when broken a red juice comes from it.
    The juice is got by breaking the weed with a mallet and straining it through a cloth. To keep it must be bottled and Corked.
