Long ago in the famine years the poor people used to be provided with porridge every day. This porridge used to be boiled in a big pot in every village. The poor people had to go every day to the village to get a quart of porridge .They used to eat porridge twice every day while the famine held. The house when the porridge used to be boiled is now a ruin. The pot in which the porridge used to be boiled is to be seen yet and it is now a water trough for cattle.
