    There is a place near my house called garrdha árd. Long ago it was a great place for tillage.This year when the owner came to till the it, it was all a hill.He left it so for a week to see would it go down but it did not and ever since it is called garrdha árd.

    There was a man in the parish of Newmarket named Mack a few years ago.He went to Ennis and missing his train he stopped rather late in town.he started to walk home .When he reached Latoon cross, there was a big meet of hounds and hunts men.On looking round he recognised a lot of people that he knew to be dead for years.
