His neighbour Pat Hogan was going to the fair of Ennis one summer morning .He was waiting outside Rahaline Gate for Mr Hanon to come out with the cows to drive them to the fair.Whilst Pat Hogan was waiting he began to whistle a jig.Soon he heard the most beautiful step dancing behind the wall.Pat stopped whistling ,and when he looked over the wall to see who were dancing ,he saw nobody but but heard laughter of people vanishing away.Jim went home and went to bed.He fell ill and died soon after.
