  1. My Dwelling Place
    The place that I live in is called Latoon. The reason why it was called Latoon, is because it is the dividing line between North Thomond and South Thomond. It is not a very big district.
    There are eight houses in the district. John Lynch has the biggest house on it and he has a very big farm.
    The next to him is Mr.Brasil. He also has a big farm. There are two thatched houses, and six slated houses in the district.
    Not far away from us we have Dromoland Castle with its beautiful lake, and woods. The village we buy our food in, is called Newmarket.
    It is a small village. There is a fine chaple in it also. There is a wireless station after being built for the purpose of directing aeroplanes and seaplanes across
