    1. When the swallows fly low it is the sign of rain. When they fly high it is the sign of rain.
    2. When the crow are in bunches over their nests in the evening it is the sign of heavy rain.
    3. A rainbow in the morning is the shephards warning, a rainbow in the is the sign of fine weather.
    4. When the curleur whistles it is the sign of frost or rain.
    5. If the wild geese come early it is the sign of a bad winter.
    6. If the new moon is clouded it is the sign of rain.
    7. The wind from the south west brings rain.
