    The old country houses.
    the houses that were built long ago are not like the houses we have now.Most of them were thatched but very few slated.
    They used wheaten straw for the thatch of the houses.it was the best and the strongest straw.The rafters that were in the houses were made of wood.This wood they got from the forests.They cut down the trees and made rafters of them.They made scollops in and out in the thatch to make it firm.These houses looked very nice
