    Gold is supposed to be hidden in a field in Carnakella. When the Danes were in Ireland they went into this field. It is said that they ran away and left a lot of gold after them. The Danes buried the gold and put a round ring of stones about it where the gold is. Nobody ever went to look for the gold. Gold ornaments are supposed to be got there also.
