Vinegar on brown paper is very good for a headache.
A raw potato is very good to cure rheumatism. Rub it to wherever you have the pain.
Asthma. Get the chestnut leaves in the Autumn when they are falling off the trees and withering. Put the leaves into a teapot and pour boiling water over them. Leave them drawing for a few hours. Drink a glass of this every morning.
Gripe. Make the worm's knot over it.
- To make a top. Cut off the handle of an old fork about two inches and shape it in the form of a cone. Then cut little circles around it for the twine. Get a nail and cut off the head and drive it into the top at the pointed end.
