    He summoned them to court, and they were to be hanged. The judge asked them where would they like to be hanged. One said, he would like to be hanged on an ash tree in Scotland; the second in Scotland also. But the other being an Irishman, said he would wish to be hanged on the smallest gooseberry bush in Ireland. The judge said it is too small and weak but the Irishman said he was in no hurry, he would wait for it to grow.
