  1. Sone people think that there is now use in weeds or herbs, but if they knew the use that could be made out of them, they would not have to send for the. Doctor at all.
    The old people always used those herbs as cures for diseases.
    Some of those cures are as follows, if a person got a burn of a nettle, a cure for it is a dock-leaf rubbed to it.
    A cure for rheumatism is this, cumpfrey boiled and the juice rubbed to the place where the rheumatism is,
    A cure for a cold is garlic boiled, and the juice drank.
