  1. There are less than three church yards in this parish.
    One and the most ancient is Cohan’s in the town land of Brickhill. It’s dimensions are sixty-five feet long by twenty-one feet wide. It is surrounded at every side with big trees.
    It is called the church -yard of little John. The remains of an old church is still to be seen .People are still buried there.
    (2) The church-yard called the Coillin. This church-yard is in the townland of Ballybrogan. It is something in the shape of a coffin.
    It’s dimensions are thirty-two feet long by sixteen feet wide. People are also buried there to the present day.
