  1. A Leipreacháin is about 4ins in height. He wears a green jacket and trousers the colour of the grass ,and a high crowned hat with a feather on it.He lives in glens and valleys.
    The Leipreacháin is a cobbler .He carries a last ,hammer and tacks with him .he mends his shoes ,sitting on a bench of grass.The Leipreacháin keeps his money in a crock hidden under a tree.
    Once upon a time there was a man and he was very miserable .One day he was out walking and he saw a Leipreacháin ,and he stole over to him and caught hold of him and kept looking at him.He asked him for gold and the Leipreacháin said "There is a wolf coming after you",and the man got a fright looked around him and the Leipreacháin escaped.
