  1. A leprecháin was seen at different times in Cullane.Two men went to the spot where he used to be seen .The saw him siting under a white-thorn bush, with two turned up shoes and a long pointed cap with two lights hanging from it ,and a red coat and trousers .
    The man hurriedly approached him,and asked him where he had the crock of gold. The Leprecháin said "just look behind you and you will see it".One of the men threatened him and said they would not leave him until he would show them the crock of gold .He told them to come the next night at the same hour,and he would meet them in the glen. He also said he would make them both very rich .
    The Leprecháin was not there for years afterwards. His home was
