    Fairs.
    There are five fairs held in Quin every year .Long ago there were only two fairs held in Quin.The fairs used to be held in the fair green which belongs to Mr Hassett.
    The buyers have not to pay any toll now but they used long ago.The Singletons of Quinville used to collect the toll long ago but the Hassetts collect it now.
    The toll was paid according to the ages of the beasts.The toll used be from 3d to a shilling.
    The fairs used to be held also in Spancilhill ans Ardsollus. There is a fair in every year on the 24th of June.This fair is a horse fair.
